Held each spring, the annual Awards Celebration is a unique opportunity to recognize individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to Pawtucket. The recipients embody civic leadership and entrepreneurship representative of the Pawtucket Foundation’s core values: collaboration, vision, sustainability, quality of place and excellence.

Over the years, the Celebration has grown to become Pawtucket’s premier business event, with over 400 business, nonprofit and government leaders in attendance annually. In addition to honoring the awards recipients, the Pawtucket Foundation makes use of the opportunity to celebrate organizational accomplishments and showcase upcoming projects.

2020 Honorees:

The Heritage Award, which recognizes an outstanding long-term commitment to the City of Pawtucket and its residents, will be given to Dan Dwight President/CEO of Cooley Group!

Special Distinction Award honors outstanding contributions in a particular aspect of the Community. We are pleased to announce Kara Larson & Cathy Plourd, owners of RI Spirits, as this year’s recipient.

Person of the Year award, which recognizes people who have significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of economic and community life in Pawtucket, will be given to Ray Lavoie & Michael Fine of Blackstone Valley Healthcare.
