Endowment Contributions:

The Pawtucket Foundation recently created an endowment to sustain our mission in perpetuity. Endowed funds earn income that will supplement the organization’s operation. Consider a contribution to our endowment in addition to your annual membership contribution, or consider this opportunity when estate planning.

Event Sponsorship:

In addition to general operations and programming the Foundation annually hosts a number of special events. Income from events benefit the organization and help to sustain programming expenses.

  • Awards Celebration: As our largest event, the Annual Awards Celebration is regarded as Pawtucket’s premier recognition ceremony. More than 400 elite business leaders, nonprofit executives and elected decision makers annually attend. The program honors outstanding contributions to the community. Sponsorship packages are available.
  • Pawtucket Proud Day: This corporate volunteer outing annually draws more than 100 individuals and 25 businesses to revitalize key sites around the community. In just seven years, more than 900 volunteers have completed 58 projects across Pawtucket and Central Falls. Contributions are directly invested in projects, supplies and refreshments for the day.

Landscape Improvement:

Fund The Landscape Improvement Fund directs 100% of contributions to improve streetscapes in Pawtucket and Central Falls. The Fund, formed in partnership with the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council and Cities of Pawtucket and Central Falls has planted 85 Cherry Trees along Roosevelt Avenue and hosted the First Annual Rhode Island Cherry Blossom Festival in 2010.
